2022 NRL Warriors v Broncos, Saturday, 3.00pm AEDT, Moreton Daily Stadium
The Warriors are yet to fully hit their straps but did enough to sneak past Wests Tigers and they’ll look to build on that in front of their adopted home crowd in Redcliffe.
Plenty to look forward to in the battle of the big men with Payne Haas and Pat Carrigan matching motors with Addin Fonua-Blake and Matt Lodge, who combined for 298 metres against the Tigers.
Shaun Johnson has been named on the extended bench as he nears a return from a pectoral injury and is firming to play. Jack Murchie has been promoted to the 17 with Bayley Sironen ruled out. Eliesa Katoa has been named to play but will continued to be monitored after suffering an eye injury in the win over Wests Tigers.
Kurt Capewell is battling a calf problem and has been listed among the reserves. Thomas Flegler returns from suspension on the interchange bench while Jordan Riki has been named despite suffering rib cartilage damage against the Cowboys.
