Japan v England Rugby 2024 at National Stadium

England will face Japan at the National Stadium in Tokyo on Saturday 22nd June in the Lipovitan D Challenge Cup Japan v England Rugby 2024. The two countries will play their first-ever Test match in Japan this coming Saturday. Although England had visited Japan before in 1971, 1979, and 2003, the games were not recognized as official test matches. In their most recent meeting, which took place in Pool D of the World Cup last year, England defeated Japan 34–12. England’s autumn international match against Japan will take place at Twickenham Stadium on Sunday, November 24, later this year. England and the Brave Blossoms have faced off in four Test matches thus far. England has won every game, maintaining a perfect record. On Saturday at 16:45 (UK and Irish time), the Heineken Champions Cup Final rematch between Leinster and La Rochelle will begin. For the second consecutive year, Leinster Rugby and Stade Rochelais square off in the Heineken Champions Cup as the Irish province seeks to wreak revenge on their French rivals. The Aviva Stadium in Dublin is expected to be packed when the game begins at 16:45 (UK and Irish time) on Saturday. Leinster will be attempting to match Stade Toulousain’s record haul of championships after being denied a fifth Heineken Champions Cup victory by La Rochelle in the season’s championship game in Marseille last year.
