NZ U20s will play Junior Wallabies twice in Wellington | World Rugby U20
Prior to the World Rugby U20 Championship, New Zealand Rugby has announced that an Under 20 team will face the Junior Wallabies twice in Wellington.
On Monday, May 29, the Junior Wallabies’ first game will begin at Wellington’s New Zealand Campus Innovation Sport.
The second game will begin on Saturday, June 3, at SKY Stadium and will be broadcast on Sky Sport as the opener to the Hurricanes vs. Crusaders game.

MATCH TWO: NZ U20 v Junior Wallabies – Saturday 3 June, 4.30PM (NZST), Sky Stadium, WELLINGTON
The final New Zealand Under 20 squad of 30 for the World Rugby U20 Championship in South Africa will be announced following their second match in Wellington, on Monday 5 June.
The New Zealand team will compete in Pool A of the World Rugby U20 event in South Africa next month, along with teams from France, Wales, and Japan. The event takes place in Cape Town and the Western Cape from June 24 to July 14.
Following their second game in Wellington on Monday, June 5, the New Zealand Under 20 team of 30 will be officially announced for the World Rugby U20 Championship in South Africa.
In Rugby Australia’s 31-man Junior Wallabies team for two games against the New Zealand Under-20s in Wellington, four Melbourne Rebels have been selected.
In the squad for the 2023 World Rugby U20 Championship in South Africa, Victorians Leafi Talataina (Endeavour Hills) and Daniel Maiava (Wyndham Rhinos) will join Mason Gordon (Wests Bulldogs) and David Vaihu (Wests Bulldogs).
