The Springboks schedule for 2023 has been confirmed by SA Rugby, outlining South Africa’s path to the World Cup Final beginning with their first test against Eddie Jones’ Australia in Pretoria in July.
The defending champions have confirmed that they would compete in six matches before facing Scotland on September 10 in Marseille for their World Cup debut.
On July 8, Jacques Nienaber’s team plays Australia at home to open the 2023 Test season before going to New Zealand to play the All Blacks.
On July 29, a match against Argentina will mark the conclusion of the condensed Rugby Championship at Ellis Park in Johannesburg.
The Wallabies will visit Loftus Versveld for the first time since 2016, and the Springboks will host Argentina in Johannesburg for the first time since 2013.
